Management meeting in Poland
First day: Presentations of regions (which the participants come from), schools, their profiles in the context of multiculturalism; workshops: discussing project goals, division of duties and project tasks, establishing mobility dates, developing project materials and logo, developing methods and ways of promoting project work and results, establishing rules which studentswill follow while preparing presentations about their schools, regions, countries ; establishing mobility rules (accommodation, payments, etc.) Second day: "Media and manipulation"- a lecture and workshops led by a journalist , "Discrimination, social exclusion and fighting stereotypes"- a lecture and workshops followed by a discussion concerning partners' experience in migration problems, cultural differences, and other issues on discrimination, stereotypes and media manipulation Third day: eTwinning platform classes, tasks summary, certificates presentation, a walk around Cieszyn. Evaluation results: Two methods of evaluation,‘mailbox’ and ‘talking wall’, let us get crucial information about the meeting and its outcome. The participants said that: - they learnt about new methods and tools for working with students, - became familiar with new ways of sharing and popularizing results of the project with the use of eTwinning platform; - they could cooperate in an international group what aided better language communication; - they could overcome barriers and build a sense of community and cooperation; - they had a chance to spend time with the partners from other countries and discuss topics connected with the project as well as everyday topics connected with their work, lives and cultures enabling them to establish a better contact and a friendly and creative atmosphere; - they had a chance of getting new skills and knowledge, of learning from the partners from other countries and sharing their experience. Results: Deciding on mobilities dates, rules of cooperation, financing, accommodation, arranging the schedule of activities in November and December, working out the means of communication and the ways of dissemination of the project results, arranging the allocation of duties when it comes to managing the project and implementation of the project by partnership schools.
